Aiguy ("we," "us," or "our") operates the aiguy.co website and marketplace. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about you when you use our services.
We collect information you provide directly to us, including name and email address, business name and industry, payment information processed through Stripe, messages and project communications, and project briefs and deliverables. We also collect information automatically when you use our site, including browser type and IP address, pages visited and time spent, and referring URLs and search terms.
We use the information we collect to match you with vetted AI experts, process payments and manage escrow, communicate about projects and platform updates, send transactional emails related to your account, improve our platform and services, and comply with legal obligations.
We share your information with matched experts (only the information needed to deliver your project), Stripe for payment processing, and infrastructure/analytics providers that help us operate the platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Current processor categories include payment processing (Stripe), hosting/infrastructure (Vercel), and web analytics (Google Analytics). We review processor scope periodically and only use what is required to operate and improve the service.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. Project data is retained for three years after project completion. You may request deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@aiguy.co.
We use TLS encryption for all data in transit and implement access controls to limit who can view your information. Payment data is processed by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@aiguy.co. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also have additional rights under GDPR.
We use cookies for analytics and to maintain session state. Analytics data helps us understand page usage and improve onboarding flows. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the platform may not function correctly without them.
